Flutes
Review and played lines 1, 2, 3, 4 to establish fingerings and tone quality on the 3 beginning notes
Played line 7 for assessment of performance target; each player met proficiency and awarded white bead
Began looking at line 16 (Hot Cross Buns); just introducing so half note and quarter note rhythms may not be solid yet; Still need to discuss legato articulation on quarter notes (technique of playing legato on the air stream)
Percussion
Assessed performance targets of line 23 and 25; continue to work toward proficiency
Assessed eighth note rhythms with Haskell-Harr lesson 7; continue to work toward proficiency
